Strict action will be taken against those spreading rumors: Home Minister Dr. Mishra

Home Minister Dr. Narottam Mishra has said that during the global disaster, strict action will be taken against those who mislead people and spread rumours. He said that in a case of releasing a video for misleading people and spreading rumours, a case has been registered against Vidisha MLA Shashank Bhargava.
Home Minister Dr. Mishra has said that no matter how influential the person spreading the confusion and rumour is, no concession will be provided. Dr. Mishra informed that the video was released by Shashank Bhargava, MLA Vidisha, in connection with the irregularities at the Vidisha Medical College in the WhatsApp group (Vidisha Today Kalam ka Hamla). During investigation, it was found that the picture was not of Medical College Vidisha. He said that on the complaint of Surendra Chauhan, a case was registered at police station, Vidisha on May 12, 2021 under Crime Number 350/2021, Sections 188, 505 IPC and 54 Disaster Act 2005 and investigation has been launched.
