Chandigarh, October 31: Haryana Power Minister, Mr. Ranjit Singh will install not one or two but six ‘Bijli Darbars’ in Bhiwani on November 1. It is for the first time in history that a Power Minister has set up such darbars to redress grievances on a large scale. There is a lot of enthusiasm among the people in this regard.
Mr. Ranjit Singh will first reach Bhiwani and give Shramdaan in the beautification programme of the ancient Lathiya Wala Johar. After this, he will meet local business leader, Mr. Deepak Bansal and other prominent citizens in sector-13 and discuss the problems of the city with them. Later in the afternoon, the Power Minister will attend a function organized at the local Ramkunj by the Trade Board and the Bijli Darbar. During this time they will also redress the electricity related problems of the residents. He will also address a meeting jointly organized by the Municipal Council President, Mr. Ran Singh Yadav and Vice President, Mr. Mamanchand.
The Power Minister will also attend the Bijli Darbar in a programme organized in conjunction with local BJP Mandal President, Mr. Nandlal Chawla at the Durga Mandir in Kamla Nagar. Here too the grievances of the people will be redressed on the spot. Late in the evening, he will participate in a programme organized by Mr. Jaimal Singh, an old supporter of Chaudhary Devi Lal in village Jui.
It is noteworthy that Mr. Ranjit Singh has close ties with Bhiwani as he worked actively in the area during the tenure of Former Prime Minister, Chaudhary Devi Lal. Even in August, the transformers and pillars in Bhiwani’s busiest market Hansi Chowk and Halubazar were removed overnight. Due to this, the long standing demand of Bhiwani Trade Board was fulfilled.
