Chandigarh, May 26 – Haryana Health Minister, Sh. Anil Vij said that the Haryana Medical Services Corporation Limited has issued two global tenders for one crore Covid vaccine supplements and 15,000 vials of Amphotericin-B injection used in the treatment of Black Fungus.
The Health Minister had tweeted in this regard. He said that the corona vaccine is being regularly given by the Centre government which is benefitting the people of the state. He said though the Centre Government is providing vaccines to all the states without any discrimination, but if more vaccine is available from global tenders, then the state will soon be able to vaccinate all the people.
Sh. Vij said that the situation of Corona is constantly improving in the state, but the State Government does not want to leave any stone unturned when it comes to the health of the people. Therefore, it has invited tenders for Corona vaccine and 15,000 vials of Amphotericin-B injection used in treatment of Black Fungus. The number of Corona infected people are also declining in the state, while the recovery rate has improved, he added.
The Health Minister said that Allopathy and Ayurveda are two different disciplines, which are contributing in the present situation. Besides this, Haryana has seperate Department and Ministry for Ayush which focuses on Ayurveda. He said that he has the portfolio of both the Departments in the state, which are contributing towards preventing the spread of Corona. He said that no medicine, including Coronil can be forcefully administered to anyone. He elaborated that many people follow Ayurveda and moreover the government has also established Sri Krishna Ayush University in Kurukshetra.
