Chandigarh September 30: Minister of State for Social Justice and Empowerment, Mr.  Om Prakash Yadav today at his residence paid floral tributes to former Chief Minister of Haryana, Mr. Rao Birender Singh on the occasion of his 11th death anniversary.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr.  Om Prakash Yadav said that Rao Virendra Singh due to his exceptional works done during a period spanning five decades had left an indelible mark in the politics of the nation and the state. While he held the post of the Chief Minister of Haryana, he also served as Minister on various posts in the Central Government and served the county apart from his own State, said Mr. Om Prakash Yadav.

He said that Mr. Rao Birender Singh worked for the welfare of the farmers and while holding the post of Agriculture Minister at the Centre, he made many beneficial schemes for the farmers, which are still reaping rich benefits for the farmers even today.
