Modern traffic signals will be installed at three main intersections of Uklana
Chandigarh, June 1 – Haryana’s Minister of State for Archaeology & Museum and Labour & Employment, Sh. Anoop Dhanak has said that there has been continuous development in the state of Haryana despite the Corona period. While the government managed to overcome another severe corona pandemic through proper management there was continuous development in the state. Among various such initiatives, Modern Traffic Signals will be installed at the main intersections of Uklana to prevent road accidents. He said that cases of road accidents were coming up at Daulatpur T-Point, Budhakheda T-Point and Shri Krishna Gaushala T-Point on Sirsa-Chandigarh main road in Uklana City. In view of this, the officers of Electricity Department of PWD B&R were instructed to install modern traffic lights signals here. Also, an amount of Rs 35,58,000 has been sanctioned by the state government for installing the Modern Traffic Signals at the above three locations. These traffic signals will facilitate the movement of the drivers and reduce the number of road accidents in the vicinity.
The Minister of State said that along with this, high mast lights will be installed at main intersections and bus stands in many villages of Uklana. He said that complete development of the state is being done by the Haryana Government and new schemes are being implemented for the benefit of the people. Many developmental works are going so that the villages can be fully developed.
