Chandigarh September 30 – Online Education is the need of the hour and Indian Educational institutes are utilizing the available resources in the best manner to impart qualitative education to its students. Education and Literacy rate is the key indicator of the development process.
This was stated by Dr. Amit Sangwan Assistant Professor of Journalism and Mass Communication department of Chaudhary Devi Lal University Sirsa while addressing the participants of Ed Crunch Ural International Scientific Online – Conference: Digital Transformation Challenge. In the year of its 100th anniversary, Ural Federal University named after the first President of Russia B.N. Yeltsin held two days International Scientific Conference on Digitalization Problems EdCrunch Ural.
On the first day of the International Conference, Dr. Sangwan was invited as a speaker, where he shared his views on the subject, ‘The Status and Future of Online Education in India’.
Speaking on the occasion, he said that due to this unprecedented situation arisen due to COVID-19; education system is experiencing one of the biggest shifts. There is a change in the era as ‘Work from office’ is shifted to ‘Work from home’. Physical classroom teaching is shifted to online mode or Virtual classroom. Similarly, seminars and workshops are converted into Webinars. LHF (Learn from Home) has become fashion and necessity also which is redefining the experience of teaching and learning.
He said that digital platform is becoming extremely important for us. Not only in the Pandemic period but in the post-pandemic era also digital has become a very important part of life. He said that the Indian education system is the best in the world because it includes human and spiritual values. He said that by including traditional and cultural values in syllabi and imparting it through technology we certainly get better results.
Scholars from different educational institutes of the world like Harward University, Bukidnon State University, Novosibirsk State University were the attendees of this gala event. Vice-Chancellor of CDLU, Professor R.B. Solanki, Registrar Rakesh Wadhwa, Dean Academic Professor SK Gahlawat, Chairperson Professor Umed congratulate the speaker for representing the University in Conference.
