Financial Commissioner Revenue, Sanjeev Kaushal reviewed the progress on the SVAMITVA Scheme by holding a video conference with the Deputy Commissioners
Chandigarh, August 16 – Haryana Financial Commissioner Revenue, Sh. Sanjeev Kaushal said that a land bank would be created in the State and training would be imparted to all the Patwaris and Kanungos in this regard so that the scheme could be run effectively and land owners would get accurate information regarding their land.
While addressing the District Deputy Commissioners through video conferencing today, the Finance Commissioner said that with the formation of a land bank, the land owner would be able to sell the land at a competitive price, on the other hand, land would be available to the State Government departments for setting up public utilities.
Apart from this, during this time he also directed the Deputy Commissioners to work on a mission mode in order to achieve the aims set out in the SVAMITVA Scheme. Sh. Sanjeev Kaushal said that under this ambitious ownership scheme of the State Government, revolutionary steps are being taken to make all villages and some parts of the city free from Lal Dora which is also the flagship scheme of the Government. He directed the Deputy Commissioners to ensure that the work under the SVAMITVA Scheme shall be completed by September without fail. He also discussed the registration of deeds in video conferencing and took its report district wise.
