Haryana Additional Chief Secretary Power, Sh. P.K.  Das informed  that Haryana Utilities have met highest ever peak demand of 12,120 MW on July  7, 2021 by supplying 2,638 lakh units

Chandigarh, July 8 – Haryana Additional Chief Secretary Power, Sh. P.K.  Das informed  that Haryana Utilities have met highest ever peak demand of 12,120 MW on July  7, 2021 by supplying 2,638 lakh units without imposing any power cut to any of the categories of consumers, including industrial and agricultural consumers.

Sh. P.K Das further informed that this peak demand is 11.25 per cent higher than the maximum peak demand last year which was 10894 MW and the maximum power supplied was 11.87 per cent higher than the maximum total unit supplied last year on any given day which was 2,358 lakh Units.

It was further informed that the Haryana is supplying 24 hours power to 5,309 villages out of 7,045 total villages of Haryana. It was also informed that Haryana has made sufficient power arrangements to cater to the ever increasing demand this year and there will not be any power cut in future also.
