Chief Minister Flying Squad raided the shops in Ballabgarh

Chandigarh, September 28 – Taking action on the sale of adulterated ghee and oil in Haryana, Chief Minister Flying Squad raided the shops in Ballabgarh, Faridabad today.

Giving information in this regard, an official spokesperson said that on receiving information by the Intelligence Unit Ballabhgarh, the Chief Minister Flying Squad, Faridabad, District Food Safety Officer, Mr. N.D. Sharma, District AYUSH Officer, and Drug Inspector (AYUSH), Dr. Jasvir Ahlawat, HMO, Faridabad, Dr. Mohit, Inspector Police Station Sector-7, Faridabad, Mr. Dinesh Gautam, along with other officers constituted two teams, under the supervision of Mr. N.D. Sharma, and conducted a raid at the residence of Mr. Ravi Aggarwal (House No. 5152 and Shop No. 5102 Housing Board Colony, Sector -3 at Ballabgarh, Faridabad).

During the raid being conducted at the residence of Mr. Ravi Aggarwal it came to light that in a room on the first floor the packets of Nature Fresh Refined Oil and Nature Fresh Vegetable Ghee were being adulterated with Artificial Flavour DSG, KC. These were then packed in polypacks of various companies and then were properly sealed in the cardboard box. The Flying Squad recovered three containers of flavour DSG and KC, 700 empty wrappers of Amul Ghee, 800 empty cans of one kilogram, 100 empty cans of 500 grams of Amul Ghee, 200 empty wrappers of Mother Dairy Ghee, 600 wrappers of Milk Food , 40 empty cans of Milk Food Ghee each of 1 kg capacity, 200 empty cans of Milk Food each of 500 grams capacity, 52 pouches of fake Milk Food, readymade vanaspati one tin can of 15 kg, 1 gas stove, cylinder pipe with regulator, one digital scale and one simple scale, a packing machine, a silver box, 26 empty tins of which 24 have Nature Fresh written on them while Milk Food written on remaining two, one sieve for Ghee, three stamps one of date, one of batch number and one of MRP. A total of six packets of adulterated ghee and other items were prepared on the spot.

The accused has been arrested and a case has been registered against Ravi Aggarwal under various sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).

          The spokesperson said that the locked shop of Mr. Rajesh Aggrawal Resident House No. 5189, Housing Board Colony Sector-3, Faridabad, was raided by the second team under the supervision of District Ayush Officer and Drug Inspector (Ayush), Dr. Jasvir Ahlawat and HMO Faridabad, Dr. Mohit. Dr. Jasvir Ahlawat and Dr. Mohit, after confirming informed that Power Munkka Vati (pills) which also contains a percentage of Bhang is banned in Haryana State. These medicines have been banned in Haryana and it is a drug which is used by youngsters nowadays as drugs. It has been observed that now-a-days at the shops near the educational institutions these are sold as cannabis pills which is ruining the younger generation.

          The spokesman said that Rajesh Aggarwal has been booked under the NDPS Act and the accused has been arrested by registering a case. The local police will take further action against him.
