Chandigarh, October 1 – Haryana Governor, Mr. Satyadeo Narain Arya today congratulated the newly appointed Chief Secretary of the state, Mr. Vijai Vardhan, on assuming the said post. Mr. Vijai Vardhan visited Raj Bhavan to pay courtesy call to Mr. Satyadeo Narain Arya and presented a bouquet to him. During the meeting he also discussed the administrative system of the state.
Mr. Arya said that Mr. Vijai Vardhan will succeed in bringing more transparency in administration as the new Chief Secretary. The post of Chief Secretary is very important in the administrative setup. Mr. Arya said that he is hopeful that as the new Chief Secretary, the team of administrative officers will make every effort to ensure that all government welfare policies reach every needy person, so as to further ensure progress of the state.
On this occasion, Chief Secretary Mr. Vijai Vardhan also assured the Governor that under his guidance the welfare policies of the State introduced will be fully implemented. The development of the state will be further accelerated by better coordination between the government and the administrative machinery. On this occasion, the Secretary to the Governor, Dr. G. Anupama was also present.
