State Government intends to gift an airport to the people of Hisar soon, says Deputy CM

Chandigarh, August 18 – Haryana Deputy Chief Minister, Mr. Dushyant Chautala today chaired a meeting of officers of various departments related to the development of ‘Integrated Aviation Hub, Hisar’ and also reviewed the ongoing work and also set deadlines for pending works.

Mr. Dushyant Chautala is committed to fulfilling the dream of an airport in Hisar. He is constantly holding meetings with the officers regarding this. In the last two months, he has met four times with the senior officers of the state to expedite the work of the airport. In this series, the Deputy CM, in today’s meeting, not only gave directions to speed up the process of its construction, but he also set the time frame for the officers of various departments to complete the related works. He will also personally review the progress report of the airport-related projects.

The Deputy Chief Minister said that the State Government intends to gift an airport to the people of Hisar soon. The main objective of today’s meeting was to speed up the project by establishing synergy between various departments to set up the aviation hub.

He also directed the officers of the Finance Department to deal with the files related to this project on priority basis, and also ensure full support to the other concerned departments.

He directed the officers to expedite the work on the alternative for Barwala Road so that vehicles coming from that road do not have to travel extra distance. He also directed the concerned departments to carry out the work of shifting of high-tension power lines over Rana Minor and Children’s Observation Home, coming under the purview of the Integrated Aviation Hub, in a timely manner.

On this occasion, Additional Chief Secretary, Fisheries Department, Mr. VS Kundu, Additional Chief Secretary, Finance and Planning Departments, Mr. TVSN Prasad, Additional Chief Secretary, Power Department, Mr. TC Gupta, Principal Secretary, Animal Husbandry and Dairying Department, Mr. Raja Sekhar Vundru and other senior officers were present.
