Chandigarh, September 4: The State Library Committee meeting was held under the chairmanship of Director, Haryana Higher Education Department, Sh. Chander Shekhar Khare. In this meeting, a committee was constituted to amend the rules of Haryana Public Library Act. The meeting was organized in the conference hall of Higher Education Department, Panchkula.
Giving information in this regard, an official spokesperson said that various agendas were discussed in this meeting held with the Director General of Raja Rammohan Roy Library Foundation (RRRLF), Prof. Ajay Pratap Singh.
During this meeting, a grant of Rs. 2.15 crore to State Central Library Ambala Cantt and Rs. 84 lakh to District Library, Narnaul, Mahendragarh was sanctioned by RRRLF under National Mission on Libraries.
