install Super Energy Efficient Supplied Inverter Air Conditioner (AC) to reduce domestic power consumption and power load in the state

Chandigarh, July 13– While promoting power saving schemes, Haryana Power Utilities has launched a scheme to install Super Energy Efficient Supplied Inverter Air Conditioner (AC) to reduce domestic power consumption and power load in the state. This scheme is for rural and urban domestic consumers under which consumers can reduce their electricity bill by installing a new AC with a power-saving of 1.5 tons or by replacing the old AC. This scheme will be applicable till August 24, 2021.

Giving information in this regard, an official spokesperson said that this scheme was implemented by the Power Utilities on June 30, 2021.  A subsidy of Rs 4000 will be given by the department for the installation of new AC in rural areas and Rs 8000 for replacement of old AC. Similarly, in urban areas, a subsidy of Rs.2000 will be given for new AC and Rs.4000 for replacement of old AC.
