Chandigarh, September 14 – Haryana State Vigilance Bureau has caught red-handed Head Constable, Ishlam, while accepting illegal gratification of Rs. 3,000.
While giving this information here today, a spokesperson of the Bureau said that a complaint was filed by Mr. Sanjeet Sharma of Village Wazirpur, District Faridabad to State Vigilance Bureau (SVB) that Head Constable Ishlam is demanding Rs. 3,000 for allowing him to continue Boring for earthing work.
He said that acting swiftly the team of State Vigilance Bureau apprehended Head Constable, Ishlam, posted at Police Station Kheri Pull, Faridabad red-handed in the presence of Duty Magistrate Mr. Jaan Mohmad, Naib Tehsildar, Faridabad.
He said that FIR has been registered under Section 7 of the Prevention of Corruption Act against the accused in the Police Station of State Vigilance Bureau, Faridabad. Further investigation of the case is in progress, he added.
