Leh, Jun 03, 2021: As per the media bulletin released by the Directorate of Health Services UT Ladakh last night, a total of 91 new positive sample reports of Covid-19 were received yesterday. Out of the total positive reports, 73 were reported in Leh and 18 in Kargil. While, a total of 2273 sample reports in UT Ladakh; Leh: 1639 and Kargil: 634 were found negative yesterday.
With the death of one patient from Covid-19 reported in Leh yesterday, the total number of deaths in UT Ladakh has reached 191; 137 in Leh and 54 in Kargil.
The bulletin further details that UT Ladakh has discharged 140 patients yesterday. Out of which 120 patients were discharged in Leh and 20 in Kargil. With this, the total number of COVID-19 active cases in UT Ladakh has come down to 1531; 1320 in Leh and 211 in Kargil district.
The bulletin further informs that 728 passengers were screened at KBR Airport Leh yesterday. While 83 passengers including the drivers and helpers of trucks, and light motor vehicles were screened at Khaltse check post yesterday and four passengers including the drivers and helpers of trucks, and light motor vehicles were screened at Upshi check post.
