Chandigarh, March 15 – Haryana Education Minister, Sh. Kanwar Pal has informed that 138 Government Model Sanskriti Senior Secondary Schools and 1418 Government Model Sanskriti Primary Schools are being run in the state.
Sh. Kanwar Pal was responding to a question during the budget session of Haryana Vidhan Sabha today.
The Education Minister said that the total sanctioned posts of academic staff in Government Model Sanskriti Senior Secondary Schools are 5,275, out of which 1,688 are vacancies and the number of sanctioned posts in Government Model Sanskriti Primary Schools is 12,883, out of which 2,386 posts are vacant. In addition, out of 912 sanctioned posts of non-teaching staff, 495 posts are vacant.
He said that the posting of teachers in Government Model Sanskriti Senior Secondary Schools is done after a difficult selection test. Academic posts in Government Model Sanskriti Primary Schools are considered as normal posts and are filled through deputation and normal transfer process. He said that the vacant posts of non-teaching staff would be filled through promotion, direct recruitment and transfer.
He said that 380 professors and 106 principals of various subjects have been appointed in these schools through interviews in April and July 2021. Recently 300 professors of various subjects have been provided appointment through CENTA’s selection process in February 2022.
Sh. Kanwar Pal informed that the posts of academic staff are non-core posts in Government Model Sanskriti Senior Secondary Schools. Therefore, the posting in Government Model Sanskriti Senior Secondary Schools continues after the selection test through the Centre for Teacher Accreditation.
The Education Minister said that the posts of academic staff in Government Model Sanskriti Primary Schools are considered as normal posts and they will be filled through deputation and normal transfer process. Apart from this, the posts of non-academic staff in Government Model Sanskriti Senior Secondary School are treated as normal posts and these posts are to be filled through regular recruitment, transfer, deputation etc. Therefore the demand to fill this direct quota has been sent to the Staff Selection Commission.
He informed that the State Government has already prepared and implemented the policy of general promotion for filling up the posts of class IV employees for the entire state.
