Nehru Yuva Kendra Ludhiana in collaboration with the Ministry of Home Affairs organised 13th Tribal Youth Exchange Program at Ludhiana, Punjab from 24rd March to 30th March 2022 at Punjab Agricultural University. In this program, 200 selected tribal youth from the state of Chattisgarh would participate along with 20 escorts from CRPF at Ludhiana.

The basic aim of 13th TYEP was to expose the tribal youth from the worst affected districts of the country to the cultural ethos, language and lifestyles of the people in Punjab, to the technological and industrial advancement that have taken place in Punjab with focus on various developmental activities, skill development etc, to sensitize the tribal youth about the rich traditional and cultural heritage and to help the tribal youth to develop emotional linkages with their peer groups in other part of the country and enhance their self esteem.
From 24th March to 30th March 2022 , events such as Cultural contest , declamation contest , tree plantation , yoga sessions, swachtha rally etc were held.
The closing ceremony was held on 30th March 2022 wherein DC Ludhiana Varinder Kumar Sharma was the chief guest. He congratulated and wished good luck to the participants for their future endeavours and appreciated the culture of Chattisgarh . The District Youth Officer, Nehru Yuva Kendra, ludhiana also thanked the PAU authorities for their kind cooperation and expressed her thanks to the organising team .
