13th Tribal Youth Exchange Program is being organized by Nehru Yuva Kendra, Ludhiana , Min of Youth Affairs & Sports , Govt of India in collaboration with Min of Home Affairs , Govt Of India from 24th March to 30th March 2022 at Punjab Agricultural University, Ludhiana in which 200 tribal youth from the state of Chattisgarh along with 20 CRPF Jawans are participating.

The basic aim of 13th TYEP is to expose the tribal youth from the worst affected districts of the country to the cultural ethos, language and lifestyles of the people in Punjab, to the technological and industrial advancement that have taken place in Punjab with focus on various developmental activities, skill development, educational and employment opportunities available here, to sensitize the tribal youth about the rich traditional and cultural heritage and enable them to preserve it for the future generation, to help the tribal youth to develop emotional linkages with their peer groups in other part of the country and enhance their self esteem.
The opening ceremony was held on 24th March 2022 and the program was inaugurated by Rahul Chaba, Additional Deputy Commissioner (gen), Ludhiana.
The chief guest welcomed the youth of chattisgarh and mentioned that the District administration will provide full support and cooperation to the program
During the 7- day program, the participants will be involved in various activities such as cleanliness drive, tree plantation, yoga/meditation sessions, visit to industrial units, Declamation & Cultural contests , interaction with local students , prabhat pheri, visit to Amritsar etc. The closing ceremony will be held on 30th March 2022.
