Observers Review arrangements made for Assembly Election-2022

Three observers appointed by the Election Commission of India for the Assembly Elections-2022 on Monday reached Rupnagar district and reviewed the arrangements made for the Assembly Elections-2022.

Election Commission of India has appointed Mr. Pandhari Yadav, IAS, 1998 (General Observer) Mob No.88476-97969, Mr. Narinder Kumar Naik, IRS, 2007 (Expenditure Observer) Mob No. 70092-71924, and Mr. Dharminder Singh, IPS, 2006 (Police Observer) Mob No. 88476-39004, for the Assembly Elections-2022 in District Rupnagar. Observers directed District Election Officer Rupnagar Mrs. Sonali Giri to ensure strict adherence to the guidelines issued by the Election Commission of India.
The District Election Officer handed over the checklist to the observers along with the details of the constituencies, including the details of the polling stations, EVMs details and staff details etc.
She also apprised about arrangement made for implementation of Model Code of Conduct, Preventive action taken, Randomization of Polling personnel, Arrangement for procurement of election material and printing of forms etc., Training of police Personnel, Dispatch arrangements, Strong Room locations and security arrangements, counting arrangements etc. The Office of Mr. Pandhari Yadav, IAS, 1998 (General Observer) has been made at the Canal Rest house.
