31 recover and discharged
Leh, Aug 26: As per the media bulletin released by the Directorate of Health Services UT Ladakh, total 31 persons were tested positive for COVID-19. Out of the total positive reports, CMO Leh received 18 positive reports while CMO Kargil received 13 positive reports.
With the death of one more patient from Covid-19 in Kargil district, the total number of deaths in UT Ladakh has gone up to 25; 08 in Leh and 17 in Kargil district.
The bulletin further details that 19 patients from Facility Isolation and 06 patients from Covid Care Centre in Leh and 01 patient from Home Isolation and 05 patients from Covid Care Centre Kargil were discharged today after their negative sample reports were received yesterday.
With this, the number of COVID-19 active cases in UT Ladakh is 846; 528 in Leh district and 318 in Kargil district and that the condition of all 846 active cases of COVID-19 in UT Ladakh is stable.
Today, 137 samples were sent to PGIMER Chandigarh for testing. Out of the total samples, 67 samples were sent by CMO Leh and 70 samples were sent by CMO Kargil.
216 passengers were screened at Leh Airport today.
