11 SEVA KENDRA IN DISTRICT ARE PROVIDING SERVICES
97902 APPLICATION FEES FROM JANUARY TO JULY THIS YEAR

Punjab government is providing various public oriented services under single room through Seva Kendra across the district Barnala. 332 services provided across the 11 Seva Kendra at various places.
Giving this information here deputy commissioner Barnala Mr Tej Pratap Singh Phoolka that taking advantage of the digital technology people having provided services near their homes in a time bound manner. This has not only brought transparency in the working of government but also proven to be a great relief for common man who earlier had to run from pillar to post to get various works done.
He added that there are 516 Seva Kendra in the state of which 11 are situated in Barnala district. These include Seva Kendra at the district administrative Complex, Seva Kendra near Pradhan Market, water works Near Government Senior Secondary School Barnala, ITI Chowk, near Barnala Civil Hospital, village Dhurkot and Mehal Kalan.
Mr Phoolka said that the seva kendras are providing 332 kinds of services pertaining to Aadhar card, arms licencing, birth and death certificate, residence certificate, rural area certificate, pension related schemes, registration of labor for various schemes, e-court servuces, transport department related 39 services, saanjh Kendra services etc.
Seva Kendra in-charge Ramandeep Singh Sidhu said that from January to July 2021, total 97902 applications were received. The sewa kendras are open from 9 am to 5 pm from Monday to Saturday.
Beneficiary Sheela Rani, resident of Barnala said that she had gone to Seva Kendra get changes done in date of birth of her Aadhar card. She applied for the same and the changes were made given frame of time. Thereafter, she also got herself registered with labor dept
