386 candidates appear for 111 vacancies in 10+2 contractual lecturers’ examination in Kargil

The 10+2 contractual lecturers’ examination was successfully held today across multiple centers in Kargil district. The examination took place at Govt. Degree College, Kargil, Boys Hostel Channi, Jammu, and Higher Secondary School, Padum, Zanskar.
In attendance at the examination were Chief Education Officer (CEO) Kargil, S.D. Namgial; Deputy Director Employment, Khanzada Muhammad Usman; Superintendent Examination Abid Hussain; Principal ITI Kargil; Deputy Superintendent Examination, and several other officials from Education Department, Kargil.
CEO Kargil, S.D. Namgial said the Education Department Kargil is committed to improve education standards in the region. He assured that the quality of education would remain a top priority, stressing that it should not be compromised at any cost.
To facilitate the examination process, the district administration had set up three centers for the aspirants in Kargil, Jammu, and Zanskar. This move was highly appreciated by the candidates, many of whom expressed satisfaction with the arrangements made for their convenience.
The examination saw a significant turnout, with 386 candidates appearing for 111 vacancies out of a total of 492 candidates. It was informed that 304 candidates appeared at the Govt. Degree College Kargil, 78 candidates at Boys Hostel Channi Jammu, and 4 candidates at Higher Secondary School, Padum, Zanskar.
The examination concluded smoothly, with all necessary measures in place to ensure a fair and efficient process. CEO Kargil, S.D. Namgial, extended his gratitude to all the stakeholders for the smooth conduct of the examination and reiterated the district’s focus on enhancing educational opportunities for its youth.
