Gurmat Sabha of Gujranwala Guru Nanak Khalsa College, Civil Lines, Ludhiana organized an Inter/School College Quiz Competition on August 28, 2021 on the topic of “Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji: Life and Teachings.” Around hundred registrations were received for this quiz in which the shortlisted teams of various institutions from different parts of the state participated enthusiastically. Dr. Sarabjot Kaur, Former Head, Post Graduate Department of Punjabi, Govt. College for Girls, Ludhiana, Dr. Bhupinder Kaur, Head, Department of Punjabi, Govt. College, Hoshiarpur and Dr. Tajinder Kaur, Assistant Professor, Post Graduate Department of Punjabi were judges of the event. There were two rounds; first five teams who got maximum marks in the first round became eligible for the final round. The winners of the final round were awarded a set of books. Ramandeep Kaur of Government College for Girls, Ludhiana bagged the first prize, second prize was received by Khushpal Singh and Gagandeep Singh of Sri Guru Angad Dev College, Khadur Sahib and the third prize was received by Harmanpreet Singh of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Faridkot. Dr. S.P Singh, President of Gujranwala Khalsa Education Council and Former Vice Chancellor GNDU, Amritsar and S. Arvinder Singh, Honorary General Secretory of Gujranwala Guru Nanak Khalsa College congratulated the winners and motivated all other participants to actively take part in such activities.
Principal, Dr. Arvinder Singh applauded the efforts of the organizing team of the Quiz competition that comprised Dr. Paramjit Singh and Dr. Mandeep Kaur.
