60 recovers and discharged
Leh, Aug 27: As per the media bulletin released by the Directorate of Health Services UT Ladakh, total 41 persons were tested positive for COVID-19. Out of the total positive reports, CMO Leh received 27 positive reports while CMO Kargil received 14 positive reports.
With the death of two more patients from Covid-19 one each in Leh and Kargil districts, the total number of deaths in UT Ladakh has gone up to 27; 09 in Leh and 18 in Kargil district.
The bulletin further details that 14 patients from Facility Isolation and 11 patients from Home Isolation in Leh, and 05 patients from Home Isolation and 30 patients from Covid Care Centre in Kargil were discharged today after their negative sample reports were received yesterday.
With this, the total number of COVID-19 active cases in UT Ladakh has come down to 825; 529 in Leh district and 296 in Kargil district and that the condition of all 825 active cases of COVID-19 in UT Ladakh is stable.
Today, 95 samples were sent to PGIMER Chandigarh for testing. Out of the total samples, 60 samples were sent by CMO Leh and 35 samples were sent by CMO Kargil.
And, 228 passengers were screened at Leh Airport today.
