The Government agencies have procured 67659 metric tonnes of wheat in Punjab on 32nd day of procurement.
Disclosing this here today, an official Spokesperson said that out of the total 67659 procurement from various procurement centres in the State, He further said that PUNGRAIN has procured 19444.30 metric tonnes, MARKFED 18289.25 metric tonnes and PUNSUP procured 8117.10 metric tonnes while Punjab State Warehousing Corporation 9960.75 MT wheat respectively. The Centre government agancy FCI has procured 9628.4 MT wheat. Apart from this Pungrain Procured 2218.8 MT wheat for public distribution in the Punjab.
Progressive procurement by all the procuring agency is 13007081.97 MT.
