72nd Republic Day celebrated with full enthusiasm in Haryana

Chandigarh, January 27: 72nd Republic Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm in Haryana. Haryana Governor, Satyadeo Narain Arya unfurled the national flag at the Raj Bhawan in Chandigarh, while Haryana Chief Minister, Manohar Lal unfurled the flag at Panchkula and addressed those present. Similarly, ministers and senior officers of the State Government unfurled the national flag in various districts addressed the people of the State.

Ambala

Haryana Deputy Chief Minister, Dushyant Chautala unfurled the national flag in Ambala on the occasion of 72nd Republic Day and received Guard of Honour at the ground at Police Lines. On this occasion, the Deputy Chief Minister also addressed the residents of the district.

In his address, he said that our Constitution came into force on this day in 1950. The members of the Constituent Assembly formulated this constitution after nearly three years of hard work, he added. He said that it is due to the constitution, that everyone; big and small, rich and poor, have the right to justice, freedom and equality.

Kurukshetra

Addressing the people of the state on the auspicious occasion of Republic Day, Haryana Vidhan Sabha Speaker, Gian Chand Gupta said that Republic Day is associated with the proud story of the sacrifice of patriots. He said that it was due to the sacrifices of these heroes, freedom fighters and revolutionaries that the people of India are living in a free country and their sacrifice can never be forgotten.

Yamunanagar

Haryana Power and Jails Minister, Ranjit Singh unfurled the national flag on the occasion of 72nd Republic Day in Yamunanagar, during the District level Republic Day celebrations. The Minister inspected the march past and received Guard of Honour.

Addressing the people the Minister congratulated and greeted everyone on the occasion of Republic Day and saluted all the known and unknown martyrs who laid down their lives for the independence of the country. He wished everyone happiness and prosperity.

Gurugram

The 72nd Republic Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm in Gurugram. Haryana Education and Forests Minister, Kanwar Pal was the chief guest at the district level function held at Tau Devi Lal Stadium, Sector 38, Gurugram. During the programme the Minister also launched a new scheme of the Forest Department under which children presented raagni, songs, poetry or drama on the subject of plantation, water conservation and environment will be rewarded by the State Government. Kanwar Pal, launched the scheme by announcing a prize of Rs. 51,000 for the students of Government Girls Senior Secondary School, Jackampura for their presentation of the ragni on the subject of plantation and water conservation during the programme.

Karnal

The 72nd Republic Day was celebrated at the local NDRI ground on January 26 in Karnal during which Haryana Co-operation Minister, Dr. Banwari Lal unfurled the national flag, inspected the parade and received Guard of Honour. The Minister expressed his gratitude to all the members who gave us the Constitution, including Babasaheb Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar.

Bhiwani

The 72nd Republic Day was observed with great pomp and fervour at the Bheem Sports Complex, Bhiwani. Haryana Transport Minister, Mool Chand Sharma unfurled the national flag to the tune of the National Anthem. Earlier, he paid floral tribute at the Martyr’s memorial built in the Bheem Sports Complex.

Rewari

Haryana Agriculture Minister, Mr. JP Dalal unfurled the national flag and received Guard of Honour during a programme organized on the occasion of 72nd Republic Day at Rao Tularam Stadium, Rewari. While addressing the gathering the Minister extended his heartiest congratulations to all the people and wished them happiness and prosperity.

Narnaul (Mahendergarh)

The 72nd Republic Day was celebrated with great pomp in Narnaul. At the district level function held at the Police Line Ground, Haryana Assembly Deputy Speaker, Ranbir Gangwa unfurled the tricolor as the Chief Minister and inspected the parade and received Guard of Honour.

While addressing the gathering, Gangwa said that he salutes all the known and unknown martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the independence of the country, as well as the brave soldiers who gave their lives to unite the country after Independence.

Faridabad

Haryana Minister of State for Archeology and Museums, Anoop Dhanak thanked the Corona Warriors while addressing the people during 72nd Republic Day district-level celebrations in Faridabad on January 26. During programme he inspected the parade and also received guard of honour. Earlier, he also paid tribute to the martyrs by visiting the district level war memorial at Town Park.

Jhajjar

The 72nd Republic Day celebrations were held in Jhajjar on January 26 at Jahanara Bagh Stadium, Jhajjar. At the function, Haryana Social Justice and Empowerment Minister, Mr. OP Yadav unfurled the national flag and inspected the parade and received Guard of Honour.

While addressing the people, the Minister said that he was feeling proud to unfurl the tricolour in the historic city of Jhajjar.

Nuh

The 72nd Republic Day was observed with great enthusiasm on January 26 at Yasin Meo Degree College, Nuh. On this occasion, the Haryana Minister of State for Woman and Child Development, Mrs. Kamlesh Dhanda, unfurled the national flag and received Guard of Honour and inspected the march past. While addressing the gathering Mrs. Kamlesh Dhanda said that the State Government has initiated several schemes for socio-economic and educational upliftment of people from backward and weaker sections of the society.

Panipat

Haryana Chief Secretary, Vijai Vardhan unfurled the national flag as the Chief Guest during the 72nd Republic Day celebrations held at the local Shivaji Stadium, Panipat on January 26 and honoured the contingents participating in the march past and awarded the tableaux of various departments that performed well. On this occasion, he honoured various social service organizations, citizens doing good work, sportspersons who performed well in sports and citizens doing well in other fields and to those who had won Gallantry Awards.
