Chandigarh, October, 5:
The Government procurement agencies have procured 75484.41 metric tonnes of paddy in Punjab on third day of procurement of this Kharif Season.
Disclosing this here today, Food and Civil Supplies Minister Punjab Mr. Bharat Bhushan Ashu said the Government procurement agencies procured total 141042.92 MT and 6916 MT paddy procured by private Millers.

He said that 76010.75 MT paddy has been arrived in mandis of state today and so far a total of 180129.75 metric tonnes of paddy has arrived in the state out of which 147958.92 metric tonnes of paddy has been procured.
Mr. Ashu said that department has cleared 67.33 Cr. Rupees of farmers.
