Meeting with the officers of Survey of India with the Deputy Commissioners of Sonepat, Panipat, Karnal, Palwal and Faridabad for UP-Haryana Boundary Demarcation – Sanjeev Kaushal
To settle the border dispute between Panchkula of Haryana and Baltana of Punjab, a meeting will be held soon with the officials of Punjab – Additional Chief Secretary
Chandigarh, June 5: Haryana Finance Commissioner and Additional Chief Secretary, Revenue and Disaster Management Department, Sh. Sanjeev Kaushal asked the Deputy Commissioners of the state to create a drone map by implementing the Svamitva Yojana being run to free the villages from Laldora within 89 days.
Sh. Kaushal was presiding over a review meeting with all the Deputy Commissioners of the State under the Svamitva Yojana here today.
He said that to complete this work, all the Deputy Commissioners of the state have been given a deadline of 89 days so that drone maps can be generated. He said that under this work white line marking and drone flying would be completed in 21 days, data processing would be completed in 21 days, feature extraction work would be completed in 33 days and Map-1 work would be completed in 32 days. He said that after completion of this work, the work of Map-2 would be completed in a period of 115 days.
He informed that to settle the demarcation dispute along the border of Uttar Pradesh and Haryana, soon a meeting will held with the officers of Survey of India along with the Deputy Commissioners of Sonepat, Panipat, Karnal, Palwal and Faridabad for UP-Haryana Boundary Demarcation. In this meeting Deputy Commissioner Karnal will give a presentation regarding the installation of Pillars etc. so that the officers of other districts can get such information and do the work of establishing Pillars in their districts as well. He said that the pillar installation work in Karnal would be completed before July.
Similarly, he directed the Deputy Commissioner, Panipat to complete at least 20 per cent of the Jamabandi work every year so that there is no delay or problem. Similarly, it was informed in the meeting that the demarcation of 14 villages of Morni would be completed by the Survey of India by June 20.
On the other hand, to settle the border dispute of Panchkula in Haryana and Baltana in Punjab, a meeting will be organized soon with the officers of Punjab during which it is expected that this dispute will be resolved.
