Haryana Government has decided to observe September 12, 2021 as a holiday due to bye-election in the jurisdiction of 5 wards

Chandigarh, September 4– Haryana Government has decided to observe September 12, 2021 as a holiday due to bye-election in the jurisdiction of 5 wards of Municipality Dharuhera of Rewari district and Ateli Mandi municipality of Mahendragarh district so that the voters (workers and employees) of that area can cast their vote.

Giving information in this regard, an official spokesperson said that September 12, 2021 has been fixed by the State Election Commission as day of Poll for Bye-elections for the seat of President, Municipal Committee, Dharuhera, District Rewari and of five wards namely wards Nos. 3,4,7,8 & 9 of Municipal Committee, Ateli Mandi, District Mahendergarh.

Therefore, it has been decided by the Government that Sunday, September 12, 2021 shall be observed as a public holiday in the offices of all Departments / Boards / Corporations / Educational Institutions under the Haryana Government and in all the factories, commercial establishments, shops etc. falling within the jurisdiction of Municipal Committee, Dharuhera, District Rewari and above wards of Municipal Committee, Ateli Mandi, Mahendergarh to enable the employees of Government offices and workers of the various factories, commercial establishments etc. to cast their vote.
