Chandigarh, September 14: In a bid to ensure timely hearing and redressal of every single grievance raised by the citizens of Haryana be it of personal, social and public interest, a single roof system named CM Window was launched by the Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal in the year 2016 is proving to be a boon for the people of the state for providing simple, easy and effective solutions.

        With the introduction of this unique initiative, now the citizens do not have to run from pillar to post or pay numerous visits to government offices to get solutions for their problems.

        Divulging more details in this regard, Sh.  Bhupeshwar Dayal, OSD to the Chief Minister, who has been continuously reviewing and monitoring the complaints received at CM Window from Chandigarh Headquarters, said that this arrangement of the Chief Minister has become ‘easy access to the people. Infact Sh. Manohar Lal himself takes the feedback of complaints regularly.

        He informed that most of the complaints received on CM Window are against departments like Police, Panchayat, Food and Supplies, Illegal Mining, Haryana Shehri Vikas Pradhikaran, Urban Local Bodies, Education.

        “It is our duty to satisfy the complainants by resolving the complaints in the shortest possible time.  In many cases, recovery has also been made by registering FIRs against those found guilty for being involved in illegal activities, added Sh. Bhupeshwar Dayal.

He informed that Karishma, a resident of Jawahar Nagar, Sonipat had complained on February 11, 2020, that she had passed her B.Ed degree in September 2018 from Harsh College of Education Purkhas.  But now the college is refusing to give a degree by making an excuse that the degree has not come from the university.

        “Whenever I visit University requesting them to issue my degree, they assure me that my degree would be sent to the college,” said Karishma in her complaint.

        When the complaint 2020/015937 was uploaded on CM Window and after that the required action was taken after which on September 21, 2020, her B.Ed degree was issued to her and she withdrew her complaint expressing satisfaction, informed Sh.  Bhupeshwar Dayal.

        He said that similarly, in another case, Laxman Das, resident of village Haveli in Yamunanagar district had filed a complaint that he had retired from the post of AFM from Sadhaura office of Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam on January 31, 2010, and applied in July 2020 that as per the 7th Pay Commission, his pension should be revised from January 2016.  But till now no action has been taken.  A complaint bearing number 2021/061980 was uploaded on CM Window on August 2, 2021.

        He said that the applicant’s EPO number 6956 was sent to Senior Accounts Officer Pension, Panchkula through the CM window.  On which immediate action was taken and arrears of revised pension of Rs 72,712 were sent through cheque number 460492 on August 12, 2021.  The pensioner expressed his gratitude to CM Window, said Sh.  Bhupeshwar Dayal.

He further informed that Smt.  Anita Devi, resident of  Shankar Vihar Colony, Kansapur, Yamunanagar had given a complaint that her husband had died in March 2021.  But Sudhir, Patwari of her area was not registering Intakal of land in the name of her and her children. After taking cognizance of the CM window, Deputy Tehsildar Jagadhri informed that after registering the Intakal of the complainant’s land, on August 24, 2021, a copy of the Intakal was given to the applicant and she has acknowledged it in writing.

        He said that the CM Window has set many examples before the people of Haryana by resolving years-old pending complaints, which has even made positive headlines in newspapers as well as were discussed and praised on social media platforms.
