Uttar Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam will address all the grievances of the consumers on September 24, 2021 from 10.00 am to 04.00 pm in the office of the Superintending Engineer, Panchkula.

Giving information in this regard, an official spokesperson of the corporation said that the Chairman and Members of the Consumer Grievance Redressal Forum will resolve the issues of the complainants related to billing, voltage, complaints concerning metering, disconnection and connection interruptions in power supply, lack of work efficiency, safety concerns, lack of reliability and disobeying orders of Haryana Electricity Regulatory Commission.

He added that under Sections-126 and Sections-135 to 139 of the Electricity Act, penalties and fines and cases of theft of electricity and unauthorized use of electricity and cases related to investigation and accidents under Section-161 would not be addressed.
