Chandigarh, 22 October:
The Government procurement agencies have procured 696921.421 metric tonnes of paddy in Punjab on 22 October,2021 in this Kharif Season.
Disclosing this here today, Food and Civil Supplies Minister Punjab Mr. Bharat Bhushan Ashu said the Government procurement agencies procured total 5884030.097 MT and 37885 MT paddy procured by private Millers.

He said that a total of 6138605.775 metric tonnes of paddy has arrived in the state so far and out of which 5921915.097 metric tonnes of paddy has been Procured.
Mr. Ashu said department has cleared 7358.33 Cr. Rupee of farmers.
