Chandigarh, 27 October:
The Government procurement agencies have procured 676252.21 metric tonnes of paddy in Punjab on 27 October,2021 in this Season.
Disclosing this here today, Food and Civil Supplies Minister Punjab Mr. Bharat Bhushan Ashu said the Government procurement agencies procured total 8703871.60 MT and 44883 MT paddy procured by private Millers.

He said that a total of 8989819.392 metric tonnes of paddy has arrived in the state so far and out of which 8748754.6035 metric tonnes of paddy has been Procured.
Mr. Ashu said department has cleared 13355.71 Cr. Rupee of farmers.
