PADDY PROCUREMENT TO CONTINUE IN REMAINING MANDIS
CLOSURE AFTER SATISFACTION CONCLUSION OF PROCUREMENT IN AREAS OF THESE MANDIS
CHANDIGARH 3RD NOVEMBER
The Minister for Food, Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs, Bharat Bhushan Ashu, today ordered the closure of 6 Mandis in the Districts of Shri Muktsar Sahib after the successful completion of procurement of paddy in the areas around these mandis. However, he ordered that procurement shall continue in the remaining mandis in this District until further orders.

Sharing the details, an official spokesperson of the Punjab Government stated that no purchase shall be made on or after 7th November in District Shri Muktsar Sahib in the Haraj, Fattakera ( Midukhera), Mithri Budhgir, Sukhna Ablu, Smagh, Chauntra.
