Applications received in service centers are being disposed off in stipulated time

While satisfactorily improving its performance, 98% of the total 191375 applications received in the Sewa Kendra of District SAS Nagar last year have been disposed off satisfactorily. Authorities are strongly instructed to dispose off applications submitted to the service centers in a timely manner so that citizen could avail the basic services in hassle free manner.

Disclosing this here today Mrs. Esha Kalia Deputy Commissioner SAS Nagar said that 15 Sewa Kendra have been set up at different places in the district at division and sub division level where more than 300 basic public services are provided to the citizens under one roof.
Mrs. Esha Kalia said that the district administration was striving to continuously improve the performance of the Sewa Kendras and provide services to the citizens visiting the Sewa Kendra in a timely manner without any hassle. She said that it was a matter of pride for us that out of the total 191375 applications received in the Sewa Kendra last year, 98% of the applications have been disposed of satisfactorily. She said that she personally monitored the pendency of applications in the Sewa Kendra on daily basis and strict instructions are passed to the officer at Sewa Kendra to dispose off the cases.
Deputy Commissioner Mrs. Isha Kalia said that the special services provided to the people in the Sewa Kendra include caste certificate, income certificate, learning license, marriage certificate, arm registration, vendor registration etc.
