Said, Channi government is no different than that of Modi govt.

In a statement issued from the party headquarters on Monday, senior AAP leader and Leader of Opposition Harpal Singh Cheema said, that the soul of Modi government has entered the Channi government. Just as the Modi government hadn’t given up its arrogance and cost 750 farmer lives involved in the farmers’ movement and then withdrew anti-farmers laws. The Channi government is behaving in the same way with the teachers of Punjab. Now Chief Minister Channi should tell that how many more lives of teachers will be taken before the regularization their jobs?
Cheema said that since last 15-20 years, educated youth of Punjab have been protesting for employment and are constantly facing government atrocities. While waiting, lakhs of youth has crossed the age limit too. The future of millions of youth has been ruined and they are being forced to go abroad without hope. Frustrated, thousands of youth are trapped in the quagmire of drug addiction and many have even committed suicide in despair. But neither the Badal-BJP government nor the Congress government led by the Captain paid any attention to the unemployed youth. Now the Channi government is also following the path of their predecessors. He said, this is the same Congress which came to power in 2017 by promising employment to every household, now they harassing and murdering unemployed youth.
Criticizing Chief Minister Channi, Cheema said that this is another stain on Channi, who pretends to be the common man. First an ETT teacher lost his life while protesting in Mohali and now this young teacher Gurpreet Singh lost his life while staging a sit-in near his house. Cheema said, these are not deaths but murders by the government system as all these teachers are fighting for their rights in a democratic way. But the Punjab government is not even ready to listen to their voice. Chief Minister Channi should tell what is the fault of these protesting teachers? Supporting the demand of the protesting teachers, he said that the Punjab government should give proper compensation to the families of teachers, who lost their lives and give a job to a member of their household. No teacher should die this way in future; the Channi government should immediately accept all of their demands and regularize their jobs.
