Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Punjab State President and Member of Parliament Bhagwant Mann, while addressing the Aam Aadmi Party’s public rallies in Assembly constituencies of Dasuya and Mukerian, slammed the Congress Party and Shiromani Akali Dal (Badal), “the hunger of the stomach can be satisfied, but the hunger of intentionally corrupt can never be satiated. After 1966, Congress party has ruled Punjab for 25 years and Akali Dal Badal ruled for more than 19 years. Because the intention of these parties is not to serve the people but to rob the people, the intention of such looters is never fulfilled.”

Mann appealed to the people, “Let us all come together for Punjab. If the fate of our children and the situation at home is to change then change the button you press while casting your vote. Leave behind ‘Takaddi’, ‘Panja’ and ‘Kamal’ for once and vote for ‘Jharoo’.”
Addressing public rallies in Dasuya and Mukerian, Bhagwant Mann accused the Congress party and the Shiromani Akali Dal Badal of oppressing the people of the state like the two sides of flour mill does to wheat. He said that by the grace of God Arvind Kejriwal had come with a ‘jharoo’ who would save the people of Punjab from the vicious cycle of Congress and SAD (Badal).
Criticizing the ruling Congress, Bhagwant Mann said that the Congress leaders could not stay together for 80 days but asked the people to vote for them for another five years. Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi, Navjot Sidhu and other leaders are fighting among themselves so, what will be the future of the people of Punjab. He said that the promises of Chief Minister Channi had become hot air ballons which did not land meaning that the promises made to the people were not fulfilled.
Sharply attacking the Shiromani Akali Dal Badal, Bhagwant Mann said, even today Parkash Singh Badal is brought on the stage with the help of four people and then Badal Saab shamelessly asks for ‘another chance’. Addressing Parkash Singh Badal, Mann said, “Baba! bas kar (Please stop old man). Give newcomers a chance too. He said that even after conquering the world, Alexander left this world empty handed.” He said that Sukhbir Singh Badal lie so much that even he can’t keep track of all his lies. Sukhbir Singh Badal, who made the Shiromani Akali Dal a private company of the Badal family, only remembered the Panth and Punjab due to forthcoming elections.
The state president of AAP by provoking the thoughts of people, said the youth of Punjab are fleeing abroad, leaving behind Punjab, the land of Baba Nanak, saints and martyrs. Parents are forced to send their children away from Punjab to keep them from addictions, and in search of employment and better facilities. Advocating for the proper use of the right to vote, Bhagwant Mann said that the dreams of Kartar Singh Sarabha, Gadari Babas, Shaheed Bhagat Singh and Udham Singh were associated with this voter card. So use the voter card voluntarily for a better future, not at the behest of anyone or for the sake of a liquor and money.
Bhagwant Mann said, “You honored my voice. You gave me an identity. I am roaring in Parliament with the power of your vote. To change Punjab, replace the old engine with a new one, which will take Punjab on the path of prosperity and progress. So in Punjab too, press the button of ‘Jharoo’ once to clean out the political filth,” he said.
