Punjab Food, Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs Minister Bharat Bhushan Ashu today distributes cheques of financial grant of Rs. 27 Lakh to 9 different city NGOs.

A cheque of Rs 2 lakh each has been distributed to NGOs Initiators of Change, Rehras Sewa Society, Helping Hands Club, Nishkam Vidya Mandir, Jeet Foundation. A cheque of Rs 3 lakh given to NGO Women Next Door, Cheque of Rs 4 Lakh to Quest Infosys Foundation while Rs 5 lakh each have been distributed to Asha Chinh Welfare Society & Shree Vivekanand Swarg Ashram Trust.
While interacting with NGO members, Bharat Bhushan Ashu and MC Councillor Mamta Ashu understood their projects in detail. They also assured of any additional support these NGOs may require in future.
Bharat Bhushan Ashu said that these 9 NGOs are making a difference to the society by working in the field of education and upliftment of children etc.
