APPEALS FAMILIES OF MARTYRS TO REGISTER THEIR GRIVANCES, IF ANY
ALSO INSTRUCTS OFFICERS TO RESOLVE ISSUES WITHIN MINIMAL TIME
HOSHIARPUR, SEPTEMBER 28: Taking a unique initiative on the birth anniversary of Shaheed-e-Azam S. Bhagat Singh, the District Administration has decided to fix a particular day in working days to patiently listen to the issues pertaining to the families of martyrs besides resolving the same within minimal time frame.
Reiterating that the District Administration is committed for the welfare of the martyrs families, the Deputy Commissioner said that directions had been issued to all SDMs to fix day and time exclusively to hear the grievances/issues of families of martyrs in their respective offices. She said that the District Administration would ensure all possible help to families of martyred policemen and army personnel besides standing by with these families to help them in all possible ways.
Riyait also pointed out that the SDMs would coordinate with the line departments related to the problems of such families and the same would be resolved on priority basis. She said that they had also been instructed to send action taken reports in these particular cases every month for review at district level. She said that SDMs had also been asked to start this practice from next month onwards for the facilitation of these families. The reports for the same shall be sent to District office before 20th of every month.
In an appeal to the families of martyrs, Riyait said that they could register their grievances, if any, in the offices of concerned SDMs, which would be resolved promptly.
Hoshiarpur has one of the highest number in the state of people serving in armed forces and also a very high number of those who made the supreme sacrifice in the line of duty.
