Third & final randomisation to be held at 5 am on March 10: DEO-cum-DC Varinder Kumar Sharma

The district administration today conducted the second randomisation to deploy manpower for the counting of votes at 14 different locations on March 10, 2022 in the presence of 14 counting observers today.

Today’s randomisation was held in the presence of Deputy Commissioner-cum-District Election Officer Varinder Kumar Sharma, Counting Observers Prabhanshu Kumar Srivastav, Madhu K, Muhammad Shafi K A, Shesh Nath, Muhammed Anzari, Dev Raj Dev, Nirmal Kumar G, P Anil, Annavi Dinesh Kumar, M S Bijukuttan, Pramod V R, TN Venkatesh, Ranjith T V, Robert Francis, ADEO-cum-ADC (General) Rahul Chaba.
During the randomisation, Deputy Commissioner-cum-District Election Officer Varinder Kumar Sharma said that the motive behind this randomization was to deploy staff for counting on March 10, adding that keeping in view the Covid-19 pandemic, two counting halls have been set up for each assembly constituency having seven tables in each hall. Besides 14 counting tables, elaborate arrangements have been made for the counting of ETPBS, and Postal Ballot. A polling party comprises one counting supervisor, a counting assistant, and a micro observer.
