Ludhiana Rural police under Community policing initiative is organizing a 100 Km Cycle Rally from Police Lines Jagraon to Hussainiwala on 22-23 March 2022 in remembrance of Martyrs to mark the Shaheedi Diwas of Shaheed Bhagat Singh, Rajguru and Sukhdev, under the able guidance of Dr. Patil Ketan Baliram, IPS SSP Ludhiana Rural.

PadmaShri Balbir Singh Seechewal, Jorawar Singh Sandhu (Nephew of Shaheed Bhagat Singh), S.P.S Parmar, IPS, IGP Ludhiana Range Ludhiana, Gurpreet Singh Bhullar, IPS, CP Ludhiana, Varinder Kumar Sharma, IAS, DC Ludhiana, Nayan Jassal, ADC Jagraon, Vikas Heera, SDM, Jagraon, Prithipal Singh, SP (Hq.) Ludhiana (Rural), Rajpal Singh Hundal, SP (Former Captain of Indian Hockey Team), Dr. Deep Kalyani President I.M.A Jagraon, Rajinder Jain, Balbir Singh Gill Financer and Singer Rajvir Jawanda specially attending in the rally and will pay homage to the martyrs.
Students of L.L.R.M DAV Collage Jagraon, Science Collage Jagraon, CT University Sidhwan Khurd, Ludhiana Group of Collages Chownkimann, GHG Collage of Nursing Goindwal, GHG Khalsa Collage Sudhar, GTB National Collage Dakha, GTB Institute of Management Technology, Shaheed Kartar Singh Nursing, Dental and Ayurvedic College Sarabha, Gobind National College Narangwal, Nightingale Nursing and B.Ed College Narangwal, Baba Farid College of Pharmacy Morkarima and aspiring cycling clubs of Jagraon and Ludhiana are participating in this rally.
This Cycle rally will start from Police Lines Jagraon on 22-03-2022 at 7:00 AM from Jagraon via Moga, Talwandi Bhai and will end on 23rd March 2022 at Hussainiwala International Indo Pak Border District Ferozepur to pay homage at the memorial of the revered martyrs. Special arrangements of medical teams and ambulances have been made for the health careness of the youth & participating in this rally.
The main motive of the rally is to encourage the youth for cycling, to remember the martyrs and to instill a sense of patriotism in the hearts of the youth and to raise awareness for the betterment of their health and environment protection while getting rid of drugs. It is also to be mentioned here that under the supervision of Dr. Patil Ketan Baliram, IPS, during the year 2016 dedicated to this martyrdom day, a bicycle rally up to 200 km from Khatkar Kalan to Ludhiana to Shaheed Memorial Hussainiwala Ferozepur and in the year 2017 Bicycle rally was organized from Asafwala District Fazilka to Jalalabad, Ferozepur to Shaheed Memorial Hussainiwala.
