Chandigarh, April 21– The entire city of panipat will be lightened up like the festival of light ‘Deepawali’ a day before the State Level Programme of Prakash Purab of ‘Hind ki Chadar’ Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur ji on 24th April. Colorful lights will be installed on government and non-government buildings across the city. This information was given by the District Deputy Commissioner, Panipat, Sh. Sushil Sarwan while holding a press conference at the venue of the event on Thursday.
He said that the programme will start on April 24 at 9 am. The Chief Minister of Haryana, Sh. Manohar Lal, along with other cabinet members, politicians from various political parties and ‘Sangat’ from across the country and abroad will attend the function. A grand pandal has been prepared for the seating of 1.5 to 2 lakh sangat on an area of 25 acres. The pandal has been made with the tents of German technology. A free medical camp will also be organized by the Indian Medical Association during the programme. A separate arrangement has been made for the doctors to sit at the venue. The sangat attending the event can also get free medical check-up done. Medicines will also be given here.
The Deputy Commissioner said that world famous Ragi and Dhadi would also attend the event. Ragi Bhai Chamanjit Singh Ji Lal, Bhai Balwinder Singh Rangeela Ji, Bhai Davinder Singh Sodhi Ji, Bhai Gagandeep Singh Ji Sri Ganganagar Wale, Dhadi Bhai Nirmal Singh Noor Ji will delight the sangat with Kirtan.
Exhibition of Sikh Gurus will be displayed in 85 slides
HCS, Sh. Gagandeep Singh, who is leading the exhibition of Sikh Gurus to be shown at the venue in Panipat, said that preparations are being made for this exhibition for the last one month. In this 85 slides related to the sacrifice of Sikh Gurus will be displayed. In this, the history of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji to Baba Banda Singh Bahadur ji will be showcased. The slides have been prepared keeping in mind that our future generations draw inspiration from their life and sacrifices. For this, Sh. Gagandeep Singh has appealed that children, youth and elders should reach this exhibition in maximum numbers.
