The statue of Bhagwan Parshuram Ji was unveiled at a park near Dholewal chowk, here today. This statue was unveiled in presence of MLAs Rajinderpal Kaur Chhina, Kulwant Singh Sidhu and Ashok Parashar Pappi, besides several others.
It is pertinent to mention that the bronze statue of Bhagwan Parshuram, sixth avatar of lord Vishnu ji, has been installed at Parshuram Ji Park near Dholewal Chowk, Ludhiana by the Information & Public Relations Department of Punjab government.
MLA Rajinderpal Kaur Chhina informed that this initiative of the Punjab government is an instrument to connect youngsters to their ancestors and is a mark of respect to great reverend saints.
She added that this would help create awareness among young generations about India’s and Punjab’s rich religious legacy, as well as historical and cultural heritage.
MLAs Kulwant Singh Sidhu and Ashok Prashar Pappi also attended the havan ceremony and paid floral tributes to Bhagwan Parshuram ji.
