18-year-old Karanveer Kaur from Ludhiana selected in FIBA u-18 Asia Championship

In a proud moment for district, Karanveer Kaur, a class 12 student of Guru Nanak International Public School, has qualified for the FIBA-U-18 (Girls) Asia Championship-2022 to be held from September 5, 2022 to September 11, 2022.
Karanveer’s mother Rajinder Pal Kaur is working as a stenographer in the office of SDM Ludhiana (East) in Deputy Commissioner office Ludhiana. Her selection in FIBA u-18 (Girls) Asia Championship has brought laurels for Punjab in general and Ludhiana in particularly. The Championship is being organized at Bengaluru.
It is pertinent to mention here that Karanvir had won four national gold. She has been practicing under guidance of Coach Saloni in school. She thanked her coach, Punjab Basketball Association General Secretary Teja Singh Dhaliwal, coaches Ravinder Singh (Golu) and Narinderpal.
Deputy Commissioner Surabhi Malik extended warm wishes to Kaur for the championship and expressed confidence that the player will excel and make the state and district proud.
