After government assurance, Christian Community calls off Sep 27 protest

Ludhiana, September 25 :-  

After assurance given by top officials of Punjab government to arrest the accused involved into Patti and Daduana incidents, the Christian Community today called off its September 27 protest demonstration.

In a press conference on Sunday in Bachat Bhawan, President Christian United federation Albert Dua said that a meeting with ADGP law and order was held on September 23 at Chandigarh in which senior police officer gave assurance that the accused will be arrested soon. He said that he and other representatives of organizations were satisfied with the assurance of ADGP law and order and decided to call off the protest.

Rev.Joginder Singh Chairman, Sonu Jatiwal Patiala, Sanawar Bhatti, Samuel Sidhu Mansa, Vijay Goriya Samson Brigade Ferozepur, Surjit Masih from Malerkotla, Rohit Masih Minna, Makhan Masih, John Masih, Sister Lovi Kalyan, Sister Ritu Khurana, Sister Preeti James, Pastor Samuel Dost, Sister Sobha and Stephon Sidhu and others.
