NRMCW rolls out 2-day training program on JJM
Kargil, October 12, 2022:
Natural Resource Management and Common Wealth/Implementation Support Agency today rolled out a two-day workshop and training program under the PHE Department, Kargil on operation, maintenance and water quality monitoring on Jal Jeevan Mission at Conference Hall, Baroo.
The program was inaugurated by Chief Planning Officer, Abdul Hadi who was the chief guest and AEE Iftikhar Hussain, representative of PHED Kargil.
The CPO spoke about the importance of the training program and stressed upon the Village Water Sanitation Committee (VWSC) members to take an active part in the training. He hoped that the program would be beneficial for the participants.
The main objective of the program is to aware the participants about the various aspects of the operation and maintenance, how to operate and manage the assets both physically and financially after hand-holding of the JJM scheme over to the VWSC.
Operation and Maintenance is an important phase in the JJM and VWSC has an important role in operating and maintaining the JJM assets.
Trainer from ISA, Murtaza and experts from ITI presented a detailed overview on various aspects of the training. The trainers gave them detailed instructions about the process.
Sarpanches, Panches, other VWSC members and four skilled persons participated in the said training program.
