Former Legislator, Sports Person, and public delegation called on the Lieutenant Governor, Manoj Sinha at Raj Bhavan and projected their issues and grievances. Sh. Zaffar Iqbal Manhas, former MLC called on the Lt Governor and informed him about various developmental and important public issues.
A delegation of residents of Pulwama apprised the Lt Governor about various local problems and demands pertaining for upgradation of health facilities; traffic management; Sanitation; youth related issues. Top female cyclist and Athlete, Insha Wadoo also met him and informed him about her desire to open a Gymnasium centre. The Lt Governor, while interacting with the members of the delegations, observed that the UT Government is set out on a mission to achieve holistic development in J&K and the betterment of all sections of the society. J&K Government is committed to promoting every sport and to reaching out to every sportsperson of the region with the necessary equipment, infrastructure and facilities. The Lt Governor assured the members of the delegations that all their genuine issues would be resolved.
