Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, at the outset of the Cabinet meeting on Sunday, while mentioning Acharya Shri Vidyasagar ji’s Sallekhna Samadhi , said that Acharya Shri always thought for the welfare of the nation. The Cabinet pays tribute to Acharya Shri and expresses condolences. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that on the demise of Acharya Shri, half-day state mourning was declared in Madhya Pradesh. Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Minister Shri Chaitanya Kashyap attended the last rites of Acharya Shri as a representative of the state government and on behalf of the citizens of the state.
The members of the Cabinet paid tribute to Acharya Shri by observing two minutes silence. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that he was a personality who established many ideals.
