Successful Completion of 3-day Workshop on Indian Power Sector for Viksit Bharat @2024

Electrical Engineering of Punjab Engineering College, Chandigarh successfully completed the workshop on Emerging Development, Challenges and Opportunities Ahead in Indian Power Sector for Viksit Bharat @2047 initiated from 21st February, 2024 to 23rd February, 2024. 
 
The Chief Guest of the Inaugural Session was Shri. Manoj Tripathi, Chairman BBMB; Keynote Speaker Prof. S. P. Singh, from IIT Roorkee; Esteemed Director of PEC, Prof. (Dr.) Baldev Setia along with Prof. Rintu Khanna (Head, Electrical Engineering Department) graced the occasion with their esteemed presence. This workshop was coordinated by Dr. Manohar Singh (Associate Professor, EED) and Co-coordinated by Dr. Ajay Kumar (Assistant Professor, EED).
 
Various technical tracks were scheduled during the 3-day workshop on various emerging & challenging issues of Indian Power Sector for Viksit Bharat@2047. During this period, the speakers were invited from CEA, Ministry of Power, MNRE, IIT, Grid Controller of India, GE, NTPC, DTL and PEC Faculty. 
Participants get the opportunity to gain insights on the usage of Renewable Power Resources, Challenges & Future of Green Transport, Challenges & Future of Solar Power, Advance & Challenges of Indian Power Sector, and most importantly Role of Academic Institutions in Indian Power Sector.
The Valedictory Session was concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr. Manish Jindal. 
The successful conclusion of the workshop reaffirms the commitment of Punjab Engineering College to advancing knowledge, fostering collaboration, and preparing professionals for the challenges of the Industry.
