MLA from Central Assembly constituency Dr Ajay Gupta organized pension camps in Angarh Fakir Singh Colony and Shastri Market today. MLA Dr Gupta got old age, widow and disabled pension forms filled for a large number of needy people on the spot. Pension filling clerks and employees working in the Facilitation Center were called to the camp on the spot. MLA Dr Gupta said that he will continue to organize such camps in every area of the Central Assembly constituency. He said that in the camp, people told him that they have been trying to get their pension for the last several months. He thanked MLA Dr Gupta and said that today their pension forms could be filled in a single day. MLA Gupta said that not only the pension forms were filled, they will also be implemented soon. He said that people should bring their Aadhar card, their photo, voter card and bank passbook to the pension camps. He said that complaints are also being received from people about ration cards not being made. He said that the portal will be launched soon in this regard and ration cards and blue cards will be made for all the remaining people. He said that under PMAU, camps are being organised every week to replace the roofs of people’s houses. He said that today people of Fakir Singh Colony have also shown the broken and wooden roofs of their houses. He said that next week a PMAU camp will also be organised in the same school. MLA Dr Gupta said that pension and PMAU camps will also be organised in Fakir Singh Colony, Gujarati Basti, Bangla Basti and Bhadrakali in the coming days. He said that people should participate enthusiastically in these camps and avail the benefits. He said that the government of Punjab’s honourable Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann is committed to providing every kind of facility to the people. He said that people’s time should not be wasted and hence facilities are being provided by bringing officers among the people.
